    3rd Entry - 18th January 2009

    Today, I went to Cornerstone church with my friend Nicholas Tay. He invited me to go with him in school before the weekend. He told me that I will meet many people who I do not know. Also known as his cell group members. So I was afraid and rejected his offer. But on the other hand I thought maybe I can make some new friends there so I decided to tag along with him.

    I went to meet Nicholas at his place before we go to the church together. It is located near the Katong Shopping Centre. I kind of missed that place since I once lived there. There are not many changes though. Just that the old building that I used to live in is gone and it seems that a new building will be constructed there for more people to live in. But the main thing is, I do not remember that there is any church near the Katong Shopping Centre!

    Surprisingly, Nicholas brought me into a building that I never noticed for so long I was there and the church actually have the sessions in a auditorium! That is amazing! We sang songs and prayed. We listened to meaningful speeches given by some pastors of the church. After the first session I decided to follow up to the rest of the sessions when I can make it. I am sure I will be able to learn more about life around me.
